Enjoy your long Memorial Day weekend! I'm thankful for all those before me who served in the armed services to preserve and protect our Freedoms and the lives we live and enjoy.
This past May 26 I attended a fundraiser event to provide sporting opportunities to our service members - former and active duty. All branches of our great military were present and were honored for their service. A great dinner was served, and silent and live auctions were held for our service members' benefit. Signups were available for Deep Sea Fishing trips, Big Game Hunting, and Dove Hunting. There was much more done for our veterans such as vacations to Disneyland, Mexico, and other places. The A-Z Foundation Group organized the event. Tickets were limited to 250 people, so I was fortunate to be invited as a guest of one of my clients. I sat next to a 98-year-old WWII Veteran who fought as an Army Soldier.
The red Corvette shown below is a recent addition to the inventory of my long-time customer Platinum Chevy in Santa Rosa. It arrived from out of state the day before I verified the VIN on it. 2,725 miles on the odometer.
