I'm no stranger to vin verification in the shop. When my customers buy or lease a new truck for their business, I receive a call to come quickly to enable registration of the unit so they can get it in on the road doing it's job to satisfy customer demand and begin paying for itself.
I have often found the vehicle being prepped in the shop in anticipation of putting it in the lineup for duty.
